罗宁长期致力于爵士乐的推广、教学、传播与发展。受中国文化和旅游部委派，罗宁作为中国音乐家代表在众多海外音乐节上进行演出。他是在国际演出及交流活动中代表中国次数最多的爵士钢琴家，曾前往南非、法国、土耳其、韩国等地进行演出。多年来，罗宁也一直受邀参加国内外各大爵士音乐节的演出。他还是第 29 届北京奥运会的特邀音乐家。

Luo Ning has long been committed to popularizing, educating, disseminating, and developing jazz music. Appointed by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Luo Ning had performed at many festivals overseas as a Chinese musician representative. He is the jazz pianist who has represented China the most in international performances and exchanges, such as South Africa, France, Turkey, and South Korea. Luo Ning has been also invited to perform domestically and internationally at major jazz festivals for many years. He was also an invited musician for the 29th Beijing Olympic Games.
